"I had a very lousy, frustrating experience yesterday with State Farm. I coud not get any help from the 800 number. I just needed to change my password and discoverd State Farm doesnt have a "technical dept". I was in about 2 hours trying to reset the password. I was beyond frustrated and pissed off. I called my local agent, Marcus Davis. I wasn't exactly very nice at this point and went off on Marcus Davis. I said I'm taking my business elsewhere. He politely listened , offered his help and shared some of his frustrating experiences on the other side being the consumer also. The call ended. I was shopping for another insurance agency. Then Marcus called me back! He wanted to smooth over my experience if he could. Well, then Marcus exceeded my expectations. He talked to me on my level, like he was me. Not lip service. I explained what customer service means to me. It is very poor what we experience with big companies. Customers have become just a number with money. Marcus diminished this feeling. Long story, but my point is that this young man stepped up for me. He showed total professionalism, and regard for what I had experienced earlier. Marcus changed my mind. I told him that he impressed me. I dont use the term loosley, but this man was very deserving. I'm staying with State Farm because of the EXCELLENT service I received from Marcus. What started out as beyond lousy ended with excellancy. I told Marcus to tell his parents how proud they can be of their son. Thank you sincerely Marcus. I'm staying with State Farm because of your caring manner, professionalism, understanding and being a good human being!!!!!"
